Right now in Newcastle, someone who used to come along to Party at the Pub, has been replicating our parties. They even have an almost identical name. We have had many phone calls asking us about this; many informing us about their disappointment when they discovered it wasn’t Party at the Pub at all; and many people expressing their disgust that someone would be so brazen and unoriginal that they couldn’t begin their own singles event, instead, having to cash in on someone else’s concept.

We are sorry this person has done this. We are sorry the Department of Fair Trading allowed this person to register that business name. We are sorry this person is damaging the good reputation that Party at the Pub built up for seven fun years.

There is a definite need for singles events in Newcastle. Surely someone out there can come up with some new and exciting ideas. It’s time to freshen up the options. There should be no need to completely copy someone/something else. Most of all, singles events should be run as labours of love. Singles events should be about people not profits. Get your heads together, all you creative ones. Come up with something new and fun. Make it affordable and attractive. We will assist you in any way we can.

For nearly 8 years, Party at the Pub was Newcastle and The Hunter's best loved singles event. Well ... we have returned ... and with some very exciting news ... you can now attend Party at the Pub in OUR OWN VENUE.

Kath & Kevin are now the licencees of the Central Hotel Stroud and welcome you to come and join them for a chat, a drink and a dance - not just for Party At The Pub - come and join us anytime you like!

We are now able to offer you affordable accommodation and great pub food to add to your enjoyment.
